The boxing community anxiously looked forward to this match as they greatly suspected a Tyson Fury comeback following the end of the second Joshua vs. Usyk. Tyson Fury, who announced his retirement in April this year, was strongly believed by a particular group to make his comeback against the winner of Usyk vs. Joshua II.

“I think Fury would be too big for him. You know he just likes to use his size all the time no matter what, and a lot of other things. I think Usyk’s too small, that would be my opinion”

Deontay Wilder thinks Oleksandr Usyk is too small and will also have a stamina problem with Tyson Fury

Oleksandr Usyk is 6′ 3″ and Tyson Fury is 6′ 9″. While Usyk has a reach of 78″ / 198cm, Fury has the reach of 85″ / 216cm – a significant difference between the two! Keeping Fury’s height and reach advantages in mind, Wilder says Fury is too big for the Ukrainian Usyk. However, according to The Bronze Bomber, size is not the only obstacle on Usyk’s path when it comes to battling The Gypsy King.

And so, Wilder adds, “And I think Usyk has a stamina problem as well, you know. You’ve seen with Joshua, enough stamina and it’d probably be a different result. But, that’s my opinion about it.”
