Vasyl Lomachenko is one of the best boxers to ever grace the ring. With a stellar amateur career, Lomachenko transferred his brilliance to the Olympics, to bag gold medals in 2008, and 2012. Moreover, fans perceive the Ukrainian boxer’s career as extremely glittery. However, the boxing great has been through some setbacks, and terrifying losses too.

In his amateur career, ‘Loma’ ended up on the losing side once. Despite that, he went ahead to have one of the most successful amateur stints.
After his amateur run, Lomachenko appeared in the pro-boxing circuit, wherein he ended up on the losing vertical in his second fight itself. Also, his most recent loss came against the ex-champ, Teofimo Lopez. That said, the 33-year-old has experienced both wins and losses, and he never lets his flecks leave a blemish on him.

He said, “Life didn’t finish if you lost in sports or if you lost in boxing. It’s not a cancel your life. It’s just a step and if you lost, you need to try to do one more time. And you need to take your goal”

Lomachenko, on Saturday night, will enter the boxing ring for his second boxing outing of the year. In a quest to advance his chances towards a title shot, the 33-year-old will meet Richard Commey for a 12-round classic.
