Andy Ruiz Jr. is in the shape of his life. The former unified heavyweight champion of the world is currently training under Eddy Reynoso at the Canelo Alvarez gym. Ruiz decided to switch gyms and trainers earlier this year.
He now looks much faster and slimmer than before. This is all thanks to his new training regime under two-time trainer of the year Eddy Reynoso.

In a recent video, Elie Seckbach gave viewers a close-up look at his training regime. The workout lasted three minutes and consisted of multiple exercises aimed at increasing his explosive speed and strength.
‘The Destroyer‘ has lost a lot of weight and it is very evident that he is now faster on his feet and more explosive. However, it will be interesting to see if he can carry the same power that he used to have before.

Ruiz just recovered from surgery on his right knee and is making a comeback to the ring. The former champion has called out other heavyweights and is looking to make a mark in his next fight and get another title shot.
Ruiz last fought in May this year against Chris Arreola. This was his first fight under Eddy Reynoso and he was able to scrape out a decision victory over Arreola.

In an interview with IFL TV, Arum said, “So we’re looking at Andy Ruiz as a possibility, he’s available. This big Finnish kid, who looked very good on the Fury vs Wilder 3 card, Helenius.”
“Those are the two principal guys. I guess if it’s Helenius we do it in the UK and if it was Ruiz, we do the fight in Las Vegas.”
