WATCH: Floyd Mayweather Caught on Tape Bragging About His Billions to Struggling Boxers: “I Play Exhibitions and Get More Than What Y’all Get”

On 25th September, Floyd Mayweather will be back in Japan to compete in yet another exhibition fight. He will face the 30-year-old Japanese mixed martial artist Mikuru Asakura from the Rizin Fighting Federation. Mayweather, 45, who officially retired from pro boxing in 2017, fought Don Moore this past May in what was his first exhibition fight of this year. Before his bout with Asakura could be over, there was news that also speculated of an upcoming and third exhibition fight.

Although retired, Mayweather has captured an envious gain just by taking part in exhibition fights. Recently, fans saw Mayweather in a brief clip where he bragged about his earning from his exhibition fights. The following is what the former world champion told: “Let them know where I’m at though. Let them know I’m still talking, feeling good. ‘Money’ Mayweather is amazing. I’m amazing. At my age, I’m amazing. It’s so crazy, y’all gotta fight real fights.”

Mayweather was jogging as a measure to keep himself in shape for his upcoming fights. While jogging, ‘Money’ Mayweather looked at the camera and had his bragging words. Here is what ‘TBE’ added next as he ran.

Mayweather‘s message was directed towards the active fighters and those who were still struggling to get a big fight. Recently, there was a piece of news that claimed Mayweather to get $1 million just to attend the press conference for the Don Moore fight. While ‘TBE’ was promoting his match with Asakura, there was another report that announced Mayweather to make a figure as big as $300k just by attending the conferences for his match.

“I play exhibitions and get more than what y’all get for real fights. And if you bet against me, you’re a natural hater. Come on. Cut them off, haters”, Mayweather concluded by saying in the clip. Exhibitions have become the rage with retired fighters. In fact, Manny Pacquiao also contemplated a return against a YouTuber for an exhibition bout.
