‘The Body Snatcher’ Dillian Whyte is not someone to mess with inside the squared circle. Former champion Anthony Joshua came across the fact when the two locked horns in an intriguing heavyweight scrap back in 2015. Although AJ could stop his rival from winning the fight, it wasn’t a pleasant night for him.

Victory fetched him the WBC International, Commonwealth (British), and BBB of C British heavyweight titles. Besides, Joshua also retained his 100% KO ratio. But several moments in the fight worked in favor of Dillian Whyte, in which he had almost knocked out Anthony Joshua. The classic scrap between two elite knockout artists lived up to the hype, as it was filled with mutual hatred.

That said, a brawl sparked out between the two after a heated round one. Both men were separated, but the energy passed on to the second round, which saw Dillian Whyte do wonders in the ring. Both men landed haymakers on each other and were looking for that one game-winning shot.

Anthony Joshua offered legitimate action from his end and successfully planted shots on Whyte. Meanwhile, Dillian Whyte did the same and found ways into Joshua’s head. He landed big shots, which rocked AJ and left him in weary legs.

Whyte could have closed the show by following it up with more shots. However, he couldn’t do so and Joshua revived himself back to the game. It was a spectacular sight to witness. The game changed from that point as Joshua learned from his mistakes. A composed AJ then took the game in his control and after five more rounds, he stopped Dillian Whyte in the seventh to claim his win.

Will Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte rematch soon?

The current title picture can bring back the former nemesis against each other once again. Whyte and Joshua are one win away respectively, to set a rematch. Per reports, Dillian Whyte will challenge WBC champion, Tyson Fury, next. Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk will rematch shortly for the WBA, WBO, and IBF belts, which are under Usyk’s name right now.

The winner of these respective fights can collide ahead in an undisputed title affair. Thus, Dillian Whyte has a massive chance of taking over the heavyweight division. It will be a demanding job to tackle and vanquish ‘The Gypsy King’.
