Last month, Frank Warren won the bids to host the heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte. This fight was constantly in the news and at one point it also looked as if this fight won’t materialize. But, the Queensberry boss winning the purse bids sealed the deal and this contest finally seemed on the line.
However, it’s been a month almost, but this fight isn’t official yet. Also, there’s no news on the fight dates, location, and more. On top of this, fans witnessed Fury jibing after rival compatriot Whyte, on social media. But there is pin-drop silence from ‘The Body Snatcher’s end.
This entire situation has left the fans puzzled and everyone wishes to know what is the actual issue behind this fight not getting official. Recently, Dan Rafael took it to Twitter to come up with a candid take on this matter.

Per sources, Dillian Whyte has signed contract to challenge heavyweight champ Tyson Fury April 23, per terms of purse bid & it's been sent to WBC by Monday deadline. HOWEVER, there's an issue over language related to UK tax withholding that WBC must rule on. (It's never easy).

The UK tax withholding seems to be a major roadblock for this fight. Also, this might be a prime reason the official posters and announcements of this fight are on hold for now.
Warren won the purse bids for a whopping $41 million. Also, with the 80-20 purse split coming into the picture, Fury is reported to make a career-high amount, banking around $32,820,000.

Simultaneously, Dillian Whyte will bank around $8,205,000, as a part of his 20% from the purse.
Purse bids were one of the biggest points in order to iron out this fight. However, with the above numbers coming into the play, this point seems sorted. But, there’s one major issue popping up and fans would wish to see that sorted as well.
