A Tyson Fury comeback following Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk II was plausible. Now that the event was done and dusted, Tyson Fury left no doubt. After his second victory over Joshua, Usyk called out ‘The Gypsy King’, and the latter replied with an affirmative nod. Since Fury and Usyk acknowledged their willingness to share the ring, the fight was immediately scheduled for December of this year. However, Usyk recently expressed how it would be impossible for him to fight Fury if the fight were to take place in December.

Reportedly, Usyk said, “Fighting Tyson Fury in December is impossible. First, I have old injuries. Second, I just don’t want to box in December. I haven’t left the gym for half a year. I want to be with my children, my family. Boxing can wait a little. Next year, I think it will happen.”

Following Usyk’s statement, The Gypsy King took to social media and strictly refused the former’s claim of injuries. Here is what Tyson Fury said.

Tyson Fury calls Oleksandr Usyk a middleweight whom he will smash to bits

After Usyk refused to fight Fury in December, claiming he wanted to spend time away from the gym with his children and family, Tyson Fury called the Ukrainian a “middleweight” who preferred “hiding”.

In a video message, Fury said, “Usyk, middleweight, you said you want the WBC, and it’s held by Gypsies, it is held by Gypsies. It is held by The Gypsy King. Listen tightly, crust tight. I will absolutely destroy you middleweight. Middleweight gets smashed to bits. You said you wanted to fight me after you beat the bodybuilder, called me out on television and now you’re being a b*** boy, running, hiding.”

Although Fury laid a special emphasis on December, he assured the outcome to be no different if the bout were to happen in April or even August next year.

“Saying you got injuries, you ain’t got no injury. It was a sparring contest. Get out and fight in December, see if you can back it up middleweight. It doesn’t matter if it’s December, April, or August next year, the outcome will be the same. I will obliterate you. I’m a 7ft, 20-stone behemoth and I will destroy you, middleweight. Find your balls, come fight me, b***,” he concluded by saying.
