Anthony Joshua won over Jermaine Franklin by a unanimous decision this Saturday. Joshua proved that he’s still got the fire as a boxer in the fight, as he was coming out of two back-to-back losses against Oleksandr Usyk. On Saturday, the 33-year-old proved a lot of critics wrong. Now, he’s already thinking about the future, and thinking to fight inside the ring again in the span of 12 weeks. Since the victory, he has been iterating that he’s going to prepare hard to get his hands on the WBC Heavyweight title.
In the post-fight press conference, he even showed interest in taking on Tyson Fury next. He talked about how every Heavy boxer wants to be able to hold the WBC Heavyweight Championship belt over his shoulders, and currently, Tyson Fury’s the one who bears it. So, Joshua wants to challenge Fury to make his dream come true. Although, many fans warned him about the fierce power of ‘The Gypsy King’.
In a recent Twitter post, DAZN Boxing uploaded a picture of ‘AJ’ where he made a checklist of his recovery day after the Franklin fight. He even announced the picture, where he stated, “12 Weeks I go again“.

But, some fans criticized Anthony Joshua for his performance against Jermaine Franklin, as they expected more from him being a boxer of such caliber.

Many fans did not like Joshua’s performance against Franklin. So much so that one fan, DivineTiming25, had this to say about Joshua vs. Franklin.

Now some fans showed their excitement of watching Anthony Joshua get inside the ring frequently is what boxing fans have always craved. And Joshua plans to do that in the coming future.
One of the fans, elaomoosin, stated that this is all he’s ever wanted from Joshua. And he even advised him to make his defense better if he wants to fight against Deontay Wilder.

So, Anthony Joshua is planning to find an opponent and get inside the ring with him in just a matter of 3 months.
