Franchon Crews-Dezurn is the current WBA and IBF undisputed super-middleweight champion and is the successor of Claressa Shields, the former champion. She is scheduled to take on Savannah Marshall on June 17th in AO Arena in Manchester, England. Marshall is a British female boxer and is a former middleweight champion. The fight is paramount for the division and arguably the sport. Marshall tried her hand last year to become the undisputed champion against Shields but fate was not on her side as she was defeated by the ‘GWOAT’.
Though she has another chance to redeem herself and get the opportunity to become the undisputed super-middleweight champion, Crews-Dezurn on the other end is making sure that history repeats itself. Not to mention, it was evident during the press conference how confident the 35-year-old boxer is, going into the bout.
