Under unprecedented circumstances, the life of the 24-year-old NFL quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr. came to a tragic halt. Drafted in the year 2019, Haskins represented two distinct franchises, Washington Redskins, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Although a full-fledged footballer from start to finish, Haskins enjoyed a wide variety of contact/combat sports. Boxing was one of them. And back in 2020, here’s how he paid homage to the legendary boxer, the Kid Dynamite, Mike Tyson.

In a tweet, he asked a somewhat rhetorical question to his fans and followers on Twitter. “Serious question, who would want to fight Mike Tyson?” This was around the time when the former world champion announced a comeback after 15 long years of absence from the game.
Certainly, as Haskins had implied back then, who would ever dare fight ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson? At the age of only 20, the Kid Dynamite was a world champion!
Dwayne Haskins and the untimely demise of a promising football player
On April 9, Dwayne Haskins Jr. passed away. He was playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a former Ohio State superstar who held a record of 5,396 passing yards and 54 touchdowns while in college.

Prior to becoming an official Steeler, he had appeared in two consecutive seasons for the Washington Redskins.
While Haskins played for the Redskins, he displayed the stats of 2’804 passing yards and 12 touchdowns. However, because of inconsistency, Haskins was released by the Redskins and he went on to sign with the Steelers.

The beginning and the end of a star
In 2021, Dwayne Haskins started fresh for a new team. Unfortunately, he never got to appear for a live game. Fans could never see him on the field wearing a Steelers jersey.
