Despite $220 Million Contract With Saudi League, Cristiano Ronaldo Jokingly Approached by Boxing Promoter to Join Arsenal

Frank Warren is a boxing promoter, but the legendary promoter is seemingly expanding his horizons. In a recent turn of events, the 71-year-old approached who some would call the best soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, for a deal to join the English soccer club Arsenal. Previously, CR7 played for Manchester United but quickly fell down the pecking order. Why?
The Portuguese forward scored just one goal during the last Premier League season. Moreover, in an interview with Piers Morgan, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner revealed he doesn’t respect the head coach Erik ten Hag. That, coupled with Ronaldo’s declaration that the ‘Red Devil’ had betrayed him, soon saw him booted from the team. However, the greatest footballer in the world had a $220 million contract ready with Al Nassr.

Warren and Ronaldo were in attendance together during last night’s ‘Day of Reckoning’ fight card. While Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua, Otto Wallin, Joseph Parker, and Jarrell Miller put on a show of a lifetime, Warren had plans of his own. In a video, Warren was captured claiming, “He is signing for Arsenal,” while Ronaldo laughed.

What’s more, the English boxing promoter turned to X (formerly Twitter) later, claiming he was “Working on it.” The update comes after the Portuguese footballer was signed by Al Nassr, a Saudi-based football club in Riyadh. The contract was officially announced on Al Nassr’s social media on 30 December 2022. But the question remains – what are the details of the contract?
