‘Jake Paul Will Call Him Out Soon’: Fans Go Wild as Jorge Masvidal Makes Floyd Mayweather, Justin Bieber ‘World Champion’ Remarks

Former five-division world champion, Floyd Mayweather, has a posse of talented prodigies under his wing. And singer Justin Bieber happens to be one of them. In fact, UFC contender Jorge Masvidal feels that Mayweather has changed Bieber into a WBC champion.

Bieber first got acquainted with Mayweather in the year 2012. And, it is the day the two hit it off and became close friends. Mayweather even invited Bieber to his fight with Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Since then, he has gone on to be a part of a few more of Mayweather’s notable fights.

It was also revealed that Bieber is an avid boxing aficionado who was looking forward to building his skill set in the sport. This was a desire that he shared with Mayweather, who gladly took him under his wing.

The then viral video showed the ‘Peaches’ singer engaged in a mitt session with the champ. Moreover, he was also seen intently listening to Mayweather’s slot online instructions.

Masvidal, on the other hand, recently shared this story. It should also be mentioned that while Masvidal recently posted it, a considerable time has passed since Bieber trained with Mayweather.

He even wrote in the captions that Mayweather has turned Bieber into a WBC World champion.

Fans react to Floyd Mayweather making Justin Bieber a ‘world champion’

Boxing fans were intrigued by Jorge Masvidal’s claims about Floyd Mayweather and Justin Bieber. Many of them even took to social media to share their thoughts about the same.

User Mike Tordillos mentioned that Bieber was lucky to train under Mayweather. He said, “Regardless Beiber is training with one of the. Best boxers. He’s at least in shape and learned some technique. At least bettering himself.”

Meanwhile, a few fans pointed out the recent performance of Mayweather’s bodyguard, Jizzy Mack.

User John Tracey mentioned, “I hope Floyd didn’t train Jizzy Mack, Floyd’s bouncer. Jizzy Mack had a fight in Japan the other night and it was bad.”

Similarly, user Jonathan Pedraja also pitched in, saying, “Not his bodyguard tho.”

On the other hand, user Ákos Patai Szabó stated, “Calling him a straight-up beast is just hilarious.”

It should be mentioned that boxing fans did not forget Jake Paul in this scenario. User Clark Snowden wrote, “Ever since Jake Paul started the celebrity boxing stuff now everyone thinks they’re a damn boxer.”

A few users were surprised by Masvidal calling Bieber a world champion. User Mustafa Talic wrote, “Turned into WBC world champion . Haha, come on.”

Similarly, user Edmond Dantes also added, “World Champion of what?”

While there is no denying that Bieber trained under Mayweather, it should be said that calling him a world champion does seem a bit of a stretch.
