Bo Nickal has recently stormed over the MMA scene after finally securing a UFC contract. Nickal made easy work of Donovan Beard with ruthless efficiency to earn himself the contract with MMA’s premiere promotion. Notably, this served as the third win of his young and booming professional pro career.

This win comes just three months after he made his pro-MMA debut with iKON FC and one month after his first appearance on DWCS. Although it is still too early to predict the 26-year-old’s career, he has shown signs of having the potential needed to compete with the best. In fact, Nickal is clear about his intentions moving forward in his career.

Following his victory over Beard, the middleweight contender surprisingly called out Logan Paul for a match. “Give me Logan Paul. UFC debut. Me vs. Logan Paul, I know he has some skills. If we can’t do it in the UFC, let’s do it in the WWE. I’ll meet you in the ring,” he said.

Henry Cejudo backs Bo Nickal as a future UFC-champion

Nickal is touted to be one of the best rising prospects in the middleweight division. Moreover, former two-division UFC champion Henry Henry Cejudo even backed him to beat UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. “For those who don’t think Bo Nickal is the real deal, I’m going to tell you guys right now, as an Olympic champ, as a two-division champion, I don’t even wanna say prospect no more, I think it’s just pinning whenever this guy actually becomes champion at 185 pounds. I think if you’re able to put him against Israel Adesanya now, just according to styles, Bo Nickal beats him. He puts him to his back, controls his wrists, grapples the heck out of him, and that’s all she wrote,” he said.

Clearly, the former two-division champ is confident in Nickal. As far as the former NCAA Division 1 wrestler goes, he doesn’t seem to be lacking any confidence as well as he was quick to call out a popular social media star in Paul. However, this doesn’t mean that Nickal is afraid of a challenge, as he also called out another undefeated prospect and rising star Khamzat Chimaev, in the post-fight interview.
