Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte saw the champion retain his WBC title. ‘The Gypsy King’ scored a sixth-round knockdown on Whyte and extended his unbeaten run. However, the most exciting part of the night came after the fight itself. With Francis Ngannou in attendance, the Englishman called ‘The Predator’ out for a hybrid bout.

Fury further elaborated on his plans to battle the UFC heavyweight champ in an exhibition bout during the post-fight press conference. The Englishman stated that this might be his last rodeo in the championship level of boxing, but he would not go away before giving fans the fights they wanted.

A fight between these two individuals will set PPV records, and the decibels within the arena may blow open the roof. This would be a clash of titans like never seen before. Ngannou, who is now recuperating from a knee surgery due to an ACL tear, will take months before resuming his training. Hence, this fight will probably happen at the end of 2022 or at the start of 2023.
