Last year in April, following his win against Dillian Whyte, Tyson Fury promised his fans “a very special fight” with Francis Ngannou with the then-UFC-heavyweight-champion present inside the ring. Following Ngannou’s recent signing with the Professional Fighters’ League, Jake Paul has now suggested a “2 fight deal – boxing and MMA” between the former UFC champion and ‘The Gypsy King’.

While ‘The Problem Child’ showed confidence in the fact that Ngannou would step inside the ring with Fury, he simultaneously questioned Tyson Fury’s manhood. Although he branded Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou as an “iconic” event, he wondered if ‘The Gypsy King’ would demonstrate courage enough to face Ngannou inside an MMA cage. Speaking about a potential two-fight deal, here is what Jake Paul said.

After Tyson Fury defeated Dillian Whyte last year, the WBC heavyweight champion spoke about the prospect of an “explosive fight” with Francis Ngannou. In his opinion, Fury vs. Ngannou would have been a very special fight, never before seen in the history of the sport. Ngannou strongly agreed with Fury. In his reply, he even assured, “We’re going to find out who is the baddest motherf**ker on the planet.” Now that Ngannou has signed with the PFL, Jake Paul speculated an iconic two-fight deal and asked Fury if he was man enough.

Taking to Twitter, Paul wrote, “This would be iconic. 2 fight deal – boxing and mma. Francis Ngannou vs Tyson Fury. One fight in the UK, one fight in Africa. I know Francis is man enough to get into the boxing ring. @Tyson_Fury you man enough to get in the cage?

Tyson Fury is yet to reply to Jake Paul. However, one cannot help but notice how Paul’s suggestion somehow echoes the words of Ngannou. When Fury won the Whyte fight, Ngannou explained the sort of fight he was hoping for against Fury. Responding to Tyson Fury’s call for a special and explosive fight, Ngannou stated he wanted a “hybrid” bout. “It will be a hybrid fight with different types of rules. You know MMA gloves in the ring, kind of like a mix up, a little different,” the Cameroonian fighter once said.
