“She Hurts Him Bad”: Before Conor McGregor, Dana White Once Gave Undefeated Floyd Mayweather a Scathing Ronda Rousey MMA Warning

The five-division champion Floyd Mayweather is arguably one of the greatest boxers of all time. However, his efficiency is unknown in different forms of combat sports.

UFC President Dana White once made a shocking claim about the undefeated boxing legend before his match against Conor McGregor.

Dana White believes Ronda Rousey would defeat Floyd Mayweather

Floyd Mayweather has toppled every single boxer that stood against him inside the squared circle. Moreover, in his final fight, Mayweather went toe to toe against the first double champion in UFC history, Conor McGregor. The legendary boxer defeated McGregor and extended his undefeated record to 50-0.

However, before taking on the Irishman, UFC President Dana White warned Mayweather about another mixed martial arts powerhouse, Ronda Rousey. According to White, the Olympic medalist would destroy the boxing legend in a fight.

He said, “Let’s put that in context. In a boxing match, Floyd [Mayweather] beats her all day long. In a street fight or in the octagon, she hurts him bad. She’s an Olympic medalist in Judo.” Additionally, White stated that she had been training Judo with men rather than women all her life, since there weren’t many American women training Judo at that time.

The boxing and UFC legends came together to create one of the biggest sporting events in history on August 26, 2017. However, there is a high possibility that the duo could run it back and make it happen all over again.

Mayweather out-classed McGregor in the first fight as he showcased his mastery over the sweet science. The five-division champion defeated McGregor via 10th-round technical knockout. Additionally, there are ongoing talks about the rematch with Mayweather putting his professional record on the line.
