YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul swiftly rose to prominence, attracting a sizable audience as the face of influencer boxing. Following his arrival in 2018, Paul shot to fame, making quite a name for himself in the sport. However, a Brazilian MMA champion who was making her boxing debut recently destroyed Paul’s last fight’s PPV statistics.

The MMA legend is none other than Bellator Women’s Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg. In her debut, the accomplished MMA fighter displayed how geared up she was to fight in the boxing ring as well. On September 25th, in Brazil, Cyborg defeated Simone Silva, a national boxing champion.

Recently, the PPV viewership for Cyborg’s battle was revealed, and she attracted a sizable audience. 10,000 spectators attended the fight in the Arena Atletico Paranaense, and 100,000 watched it on pay-per-view.

The second battle between Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley, on the other hand, was a box office failure that only attracted about 65,000 PPV purchases. Cyborg has just 1.2 million Instagram followers, compared to Paul’s staggering 20.9 million. Regardless, the latter was able to make PPV records with her boxing debut and change the course of women’s boxing.

Jake Paul is looking forward to fighting another UFC legend after Anderson Silva

‘The Problem Child’ is slated to take on the toughest opponent of his career until now, Anderson Silva. The UFC legend is a seasoned fighter, and there is a high probability that he might break Paul’s undefeated record. However, the latter seems confident about beating him, and there are rumors that he will fight another UFC legend soon after.
