Everybody seems to be getting in on the Jake Paul and Tommy Fury fight. The ring is ready to welcome both the boxers in a few hours. Athletes from different sports have weighed in on the fight and chosen their favorites before the clash. But, many athletes are going big and betting crazy sums on one of them to win. Recently, UFC fighter Colby Covington promoted a betting platform while pitching in the Paul and Fury fight in Saudi Arabia. Covington has been a part of controversies before, but this time he chose to reign in the name of the brother of one of the most famous actors in the world.
Covington shared a promotional video for the betting platform he is associated with on his Instagram handle and used the name of Sylvester Stallone’s brother while promoting the same.

A world title is on the line…
Colby Covington was promoting a betting platform named MyBookie.He uploaded a video on his Instagram promoting the betting platform ahead of ‘the Problem Child’ and ‘Tommy TNT’ matchup. In the video’s caption, the UFC fighter wrote, “The Frank Stallone World Title is on the line in Saudi Arabia!”
In promoting the betting platform, Covington used to name Frank Stallone, ‘Rocky’ star Sylvester Stallone’s brother. He did this to add a sense of fun to the promotion and nothing personal to the veteran actor. Covington also announced a deal that would give his fans 50% off if they used his code.

Covington mocked Paul while promoting. He said, “We have ‘Snake’ Paul taking on Tommy Fury.” This is not the first time ‘Chaos’ has taken jabs at the YouTuber-turned-boxer. Both of them have had their fair share of exchanges on social media, and the fans can certainly expect Covington’s comments ahead of Paul’s scheduled bout with Fury.
Why is Covington inactive in the UFC?
It’s been a long since Colby Covington stepped into the Octagon for a fight. The former UFC interim welterweight champion fought Jorge Masvidal at the UFC 272, in which Covington set the pace for the fight and eventually prevailed. But their bout did not end.

Just a few weeks after this fight, Masvidal attacked Covington at a stake house in Miami. ‘Gambred’ was arrested on the charges of assaulting Covington. Covington reportedly incurred injuries from the attack. Reportedly, he had a neck injury and broke his jaw when Masvidal let go of his punches on him. Since then, fans have awaited ‘Chaos’ to make his entry into the octagon.

Meanwhile, Colby Covington certainly seems to be in good spirits, and fans can expect a comeback from the fighter this year.
