Logan Paul Sides With the Enemy as Jake Paul Loses Decision to Tommy Fury

Jake Paul experienced his first loss against Tommy Fury this Sunday. The young Fury secured a win over ‘The Problem Child’, by a split decision. The fight came with many questions, and on the night of Feb 26, each one was answered in every round of the 8-round fight. The fight was for eight rounds, and both fighters gave their best. It was evident that no stones were left unturned during their preparation to fight against each other. But Jake Paul wasn’t happy with his performance.

In the post-fight interview uploaded by Top Rank Boxing, Jake Paul even said that he may not agree with the judge’s decision for the fight, as according to him, he had a 10-8 round twice. But this loss wouldn’t change much, as he’s just happy to be able to do what he loves.

And it was not just Paul. Nobody could believe what they’d witnessed. As Tommy Fury handing Jake Paul his first-ever pro loss took the internet by storm.

But the American boxing star’s brother, Logan Paul accepted the decision quite calmly. He believed that his younger brother could’ve done better against Tommy Fury. And it seemed like he was upset because of his brother’s loss. He even made a statement that was contrary to Jake’s statements.

Logan Paul had a different view than his brother

In a backstage interview of Logan Paul with Fight Hub TV, the reporter asked Logan Paul about his opinion on the judges’ decision. Logan Paul simply responded, “It was pretty, I think it was accurate, yeah yeah I think so.” And when he was asked about his thoughts on the overall fight, Logan Paul just left without saying anything.

While Jake Paul had his doubts, his older brother was sure about his loss. Now, this could be because Logan Paul was watching the fight from a third-person perspective, so he was able to deduce the fight more accurately.

In the same interview with Jake Paul, the reporter asked him about the overall fight. Paul replied that he fell short in his preparation for this fight, and he wasn’t at his best. But, he further said that he will have to accept this loss and move forward. And he even congratulated Tommy Fury on securing the win.

Paul said, “You only get one night one chance and I messed that up I guess. But congrats to Tommy man, he deserves it, he fought tough and I’ll be back.

The reporter asked Paul about Tommy Fury’s punching power, and whether his punch was as powerful as they were claimed to be. To which Jake Paul responded, “Yeah, no his power wasn’t like that crazy. He just had good speed, good combinations, but Anderson and Tyron hit really hard, so I was used to that.

Well, his brother’s insight will definitely help Jake Paul in his future training. Logan Paul will surely be there to tell him all the ‘don’ts’ that can be avoided in the rematch against Tommy Fury.
