Recently at the French Open, Rafael Nadal beat rival World No. 1 Novak Djokovic 6-0 6-2 7-5 in a match that seemed pretty one-sided.

A couple of weeks after winning the Roland Garros final, Rafael Nadal ended up playing golf for a change. He appeared to enjoy himself at the Balearic Golf Championships.

The Spaniard showcased his skills in golf, which isn’t all that new to him. Besides tennis, Nadal has a liking for golf and football, and go is something he keeps engaging in from time to time.

“I like to play golf” – Rafael Nadal

Rafa had even considered switching to golf after a career-threatening injury in 2005, something he mentioned in his autobiography. He does have the ability to get things done with an attitude like his, be it golf or otherwise. Nadal is considered to be one of the greatest fighters in the sport.

Speaking recently on his long-time hobby of playing golf, Rafa said, “I like to play golf. I have been normally in amateur competitions.” Being ever so humble, he went on to say, “I think I can reach a level… to compete at a local level, but I don’t think I can become not even close to a good golfer.”
