Francis Ngannou’s Scathing Response to a Heckling Tyson Fury Leaves Tony Bellew Rallying Behind His Statement

Only yesterday, Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury shared the frame with His Excellency Turki Alalshikh and looked happy. However, now, at the Riyadh press conference of Ngannou vs. Anthony Joshua, ‘The Predator’ attacked Fury with his words while on the stage. In addition to promising a win against Joshua on March 8th, the French-Cameroonian fighter hoped for a rematch against ‘The Gypsy King’.
In doing so, Ngannou claimed to beat Fury “twice on a Sunday”. However, Tyson disagreed. But, former WBC Cruiserweight champion, Tony Bellew took to social media and lauded Ngannou’s claim.

In his latest interview with BBC, Francis Ngannou said he was certain he had beaten Tyson Fury in October last year. Therefore, as the decision was announced, ‘The Predator’ was taken by surprise. Now, at the Riyadh press conference for the Anthony Joshua fight, Francis Ngannou, who is “just getting started,” reiterated defeating Tyson Fury. “I’m looking for the victory on Friday night,” began Ngannou.

“I don’t think that would be making any statement of my career. Because the road is long. And I really intend to gain a lot of major victories like this. One more over Tyson. Because I have the first one over him. I intend to have the second one. And he been bitching about it which is true,” added Francis Ngannou.

At this, as Fury heckled Ngannou from the crowd, Ngannou said, “I tell you your only chance is in the boxing ring with the boxing rules. Respect the fact that boxing is protecting us and the rules of boxing is protecting us.” Additionally, while snapping his fingers, looking at Fury through his sunglasses, the former UFC fighter said, “You’re nothing in front of me. I will beat you every day. Twice on Sunday.” On the other hand, in his reply, Fury said, “In your dreams.”
Soon, former WBC Cruiserweight champion, Tony Bellew lauded Ngannou’s statements.

Taking to X, Tony Bellew argued that Tyson Fury did not have a chance against Francis Ngannou “in a cage/street“. In addition, Bellew stated that Fury did not take Francis seriously when they fought as ‘The Gypsy King’ weighed the “heaviest” in his career at 277¾ lbs. And speaking of Ngannou snapping his fingers, Bellew wrote, “Clicked his fingers like Thanos ffs!!”
