Concerns persist in the boxing realm. Hours ago, a video emerged on the internet that suggested that super-lightweight pugilist, Ryan Garcia was in danger. While no clarification came from Garcia himself, his dad/coach has now relayed some information behind the concerning clip.

A lot of aspects have recently raised concerns for ‘KingRy’s safety. One, at his presser for the upcoming Devin Haney fight, his opponent alleged he was “drunk as a skunk.” Second, Jake Paul, in his recent post-fight press conference, alleged that the fighter was using coc*ine. Now, in light of a cryptic video appearing on the internet, both his ex-wife and his father have suggested that there is more to Garcia’s troubles than what it appears to be on the surface.

Almost a day ago, on both his X and Instagram accounts, a concerning video emerged. In the 6-second-long video, a person whose identity was shielded can be seen rummaging and running through a through. It is still unclear if the person in the video was the California native. The alarming element of the video, however, was the message written on it. It read, “We got him boys. Ryan Garcia RIP B*tch. WE TOLD YOU WE WERE COMING.”

Concerned like every other fan, a user commented on another post by Henry Garcia, father and coach of Ryan Garcia, asking if the fighter was okay. In response, the coach/father relayed, “Yes Ryan is ok , he’s just trolling the wrong way.” When another fan raised more concern in the same thread, he further added, “No there’s more to it . Trust.”

These comments then showed up in the tweet’s community notes as an explanation for the concerning clip pasted above them. Though the post has since been deleted, it seems for now, according to Garcia Sr., KingRy is just trolling his fans, trying to drum up fanfare for his upcoming match with Devin Haney on April 20th.

Ex-wife expresses concern for Ryan Garcia

Soon after the vague videos made their way to the internet, Garcia’s former wife, Célina wrote on her Instagram stories, “If all my followers who are believers can you please pray for Ryan.” She further noted, “We are not together and I’ve been in contact with him and he may seen fine but he is not. I know in my heart he is being heavily oppressed. This is not a troll, I’m genuinely concerned and so is all his family members. We are not part of any of this and want him to get better but this IS REAL. Pray for him.”

Andrea Célina and Ryan Garcia welcomed their second child, a son, Henry Leo in January this year. The same day, shockingly, the fighter announced their divorce. While she suggested something might be wrong with Ry, a huge section of his fanbase believes that his account was rather hacked. Others, meanwhile, have suggested that it might be a tactic to boost sales for his upcoming Haney fight. No formal clarification has come from either him or his promoter, Oscar De La Hoya till now. It remains to be seen what the Golden Boy has to say about his current shenanigans.
