Boxing fans around the world are hyped for this Friday’s heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou. The highly anticipated bout will take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Diehard viewers in the US can watch the fight live on streaming platform DAZN. Both fighters are coming into this fight with a point to prove.

Anthony Joshua, the former heavyweight champion, is looking for a dominant knockout victory to save himself and the world of boxing from another potential embarrassment. However, Ngannou, the challenger. who can boast about knocking down the WBC heavyweight champion during their last fight, will be looking to cement his standing among the elites of the heavyweight division. And now, Tyson Fury, who takes the credit for laying the foundations of Ngannou’s boxing career, has revealed his pick for the “Knockout Chaos” main event.

Tyson Fury stays loyal to his sport

This fight holds a lot of future opportunities at stake for both fighters. The winner of this fight could also potentially push for a bout against the winner of the Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed status. So, it’s an important contest that will map out the road ahead for the heavyweight division.

Therefore, when Tyson Fury was asked about his opinion on the fight, he didn’t make his choice right away. In fact, he told DAZN, “I think they’re both big strong guys and knockout chaos. Anyone can win it. They’re both big punches, they’re both not very hard to hit, so they both can land a new damage. I’d like to back the former world heavyweight champion but then again, who the f**k am I to say anything? It’s a fight.”

Then he went on to mention how the result of this fight would be beneficial to him no matter how it panned out. While a clash with Joshua would turn out to be a “big British fight.“, Ngannou’s win promises a “massive rematch”.  However, during the presser, Ngannou got into a heated debate with his rival Tyson Fury.

Ahead of Friday’s highly anticipated event, fight organizer His Excellency Turki Alalshikh hosted all the boxers on the card at his residence. This remarkable gathering brought together not only current rivals Joshua and Ngannou but also former foes Tyson Fury and Ngannou. Even Cristiano Ronaldo, the superstar soccer player playing for Saudi club Al Nassr, joined the company.

The evening transcended the usual pre-fight animosity, and Fury’s cousin Andy Lee also reported to iFL TV that a confrontation took place between ‘The Gypsy King’ and ‘Predator’. He stated, “Ngannou came in and Tyson pulled him up straight away. He said, ‘Hey you, you’ve been talking about me in interviews, saying I’m a coward, calling me a yellow belly. But Ngannou in fairness was quite cool and calm and went, ‘No I didn’t say that.’ Tyson went, ‘You did. I beat you, I beat you.’”
