Anthony Edwards has become one of the biggest rising stars in the NBA. At 22 years old, Edwards is already a 2-time All-Star and has led the Minnesota Timberwolves to the best record in the Western Conference this season. He has insane athleticism and a knack for performing his best under pressure. Many have even claimed that Edwards is the next coming of 6-time Champion Michael Jordan.
While the NBA World cannot help but compare Ant-Man to His Airness, Edwards believes he has not done anything on MJ’s level yet to be compared to him. In an interview with ESPN’s Malika Andrews, Anthony said, “I don’t wanna be compared to somebody of that caliber.”
However, the Timberwolves star immediately flipped his switch after showing his humble side. “I love it, I love it. They got faith in me for sure. I mean, they’re not wrong.” After giving Jordan his flowers, Edwards claimed people who call him the next Michael Jordan might not be wrong.
