“We Should Sue”: Kawhi Leonard Reveals Hysterical Plan To Clap Back at NBA’s Player Participation Policy
NBA commissioner ‘Adam Silver’ has been trying to increase player participation with an ‘iron’ fist policy. And Kawhi Leonard doesn’t mind making soft-as-silk jokes out of that. Leonard, Paul George, and James Harden have proved to be the deadly trio for the Los Angeles Clippers. Paul George and Kawhi have stayed fit too, which is unprecedented.
After consecutive losses, the Clippers began an eight-game winning streak. Kawhi-George have combined to take on the opponents while maintaining a fitness stretch they couldn’t maintain since they were traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. They played 23 games together and George Paul’s injury broke the streak recently as he was out due to a sore hip. And that has helped them to deal with the NBA rules with composure and humor.

The league had drafted the policy to woo players to play more league games and not avoid the televised games. But the fitness of the Clippers has helped them dodge the rules. The policy wants them to minimize sitting out of the league games and has drafted penalties for the same. Kawhi Leonard, who lets the ball talk more than his tongue, had a humorous jibe over the same. He said while talking to ESPN, “We should sue for — what do they call it? — negligence,”
Kawhi Leonard could play 38 games only in the previous season. He shared on a rather serious note that people tend to make that look out when they are sitting out. He explained, “That was never the case. We had injuries that we were trying to keep minimal. No one knows what we go through, what and where our bodies are at. But they paint that picture on us as if we were sitting games out like we wanted to.”
