Before he could even patch those wounds, ‘The American Nightmare’ took another brutal beating. Fans couldn’t believe it as Brock Lesnar turned on Rhodes and annihilated him on RAW.

Cody Rhodes couldn’t find a place to hide at RAW

In a recent episode of ‘Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru’, the host, Jim Cornette discussed the various matches on offer for wrestling fans at RAW. Even though hardcore fans felt disappointed by the show, especially following ‘Mania, one segment stood out among others. The most-awaited match-up between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa turned into a demolition job, as ‘The Beast Incarnate’ went rampant.

The match officials failed to tame The Conqueror as he turned on Rhodes before the match even started and brutally beat him down. The thrashing included multiple F-5s including one on the steel steps.

Therefore, Cornette joked about Rhodes and said “And I know you got to put Brock over. But there’s like three referees out there, there’s no security that runs out in these press conferences or these contract signings there are no friends coming.” and added “Cody, do you have no friends? are there no workhouses?”

Brock Lesnar becomes King Kong inside the squared-circle

During the latest RAW showing, Brock Lesnar went berserk. This time, Cody Rhodes was at the other end, taking a beating. Talking about Lesnar’s brutality, Cornette said “And then he (Lesnar) picks up the stairs and hits him (Rhodes) with the stairs, and the referees are just running around like it’s King Kong”

Furthermore, Cornette, who previously threatened to shoot Lesnar, compared the former world champion’s destructive capabilities to King Kong. As, the WWE superstar has a habit of playing with his opponent, before completely destroying them.
