Upon her arrival, she chose violence and her target was one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Raquel Rodriguez. She and her Shayna Baszler decimated her on Monday Night Raw and demanded a shot at her tag team title.

Rousey cut a promo upon her return. However, she accidentally botched a move while delivering a blow to Rodriguez. This led the WWE Universe to take shots at her over social media.

‘Rowdy Ronda’ had been absent from WWE for a while. After suffering a fractured arm, she took some time off from the company. She last appeared at WrestleMania 39 where she competed in the four-way tag team showcase match with her tag team partner Baszler.

Upon her return, she made it very clear the goal in her mind is to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship by hook or by crook.

Rousey wants a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships

The other half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan, was not present on Raw this week. It was because of an injury she suffered during her match against Damage CTRL (Bayley & Dakota Kai) at last week’s Friday Night SmackDown.

The duo of former MMA stars took this opportunity as an advantage to attack Rodriguez on this week’s RAW. WWE initially booked the Tag Team Champions to defend their titles against Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville on Raw this week. But they had to alter the plan following Morgan’s injury.

WWE booked Rodriguez to face Green in a single match, which she won. As she was returning backstage, Rousey and Baszler attacked her. She was already exhausted from her match. Plus, both the stars took her by surprise. They then threatened to attack her until they get a shot at the tag team titles.
