Nash said, “He’s already put himself on the mantle right next to The Ultimate Warrior. Go shake the ropes buddy, you punched Luke Perry’s son, sucker punching his son.’ Kevin Nash’s comment indicates the brawl between CM Punk and Jungle Boy Jack Perry, son of American Actor Luke Perry. Nash believes that with all the backstage drama Punk has been involved in AEW in a year has placed himself next to The Ultimate Warrior when it comes being difficult to work with.
Late WWE Superstar Ultimate Warrior was notorious for using his on-stage popularity to use for his backstage politics. Jake the Snake Roberts mentioned his incident from the ’90s in his podcast. WWE’s The Self-Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior DVD, portrayed the star in a negative light and as someone who was difficult to work with.
In a promotion that consisted of superstars like Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan, who were infamous for backstage problems, Nash cited Warrior’s name for comparison. It speaks volumes about Warrior’s history of backstage drama which has been mentioned by other notable names as well.
Punk’s recent altercation with Perry at All In was his second such brawl in AEW after last year’s infamous brawl out with The Elite following AEW All Out media scrum.

As per Ryback, Punk isn’t as big a draw now as he once was (during the Summer of Punk in 2013). Moreover, these recent incidents in quick succession in AEW may put off WWE when it comes to doing business with Punk.
