Arkane Studios is indeed full of a very creative bunch of people. They have shown their prowess in the art of creating immersive experiences time and time again. From Dishonored to Prey to Deathloop, they have mostly made games that people cannot help but appreciate. The only exception is the recently launched Redfall.

Now this studio seems to be working on something very different. Leaving behind their semi-open experiences, they have decided to venture into RPG territory. It appears they are developing something that people might find a bit familiar!

“Arkane Austin is looking for a Lead Technical Engineer to join us and lead a team of talented engineers in developing AAA games for PC and console systems. Our emergent gameplay style and immersive simulation values lead to interesting challenges. As a Lead Technical Engineer, you will be helping to guide the technical vision and core game technology to solve these challenges and support the development team.”

They are looking for someone to help them develop an immersive sim such as Deus Ex, of course. Fans might not be aware of the fact that most of Arcane consist of ex-Half-Life, System Shock, and Deus Ex developers. And the influence of those games can be seen in their newer titles.
