Carnival of Venice seasonal event arriving in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The Carnival of Venice event begins on February 7 and lasts till March 1. Nintendo introduced the event for users to celebrate and know about The Venice Carnival. The Venice Carnival started in 12th-century Italy, after people gathered and danced in the city square to celebrate their victory over the Patriarch of Aquileia.

Furthermore, people wore masks in order to celebrate joyful moments without the rigid social burdens of class. Since masks play an important role, Nintendo will let users celebrate the Venice Carnival in New Horizons by equipping in-game masks. During the event, users can purchase the exclusive Venetian Carnival Mask from Nook Shopping for 2,400 Bells.

Moreover, the Venetian Carnival Mask will be available in five variants (Gold, Pink, Blue, Silver, and White). One of these colored masks will appear each day; therefore, if you want every variation of the Venetian Carnival Mask, make sure to visit Nook Shopping for five consecutive days.

As masks are clothing items and not furniture items, they can’t be customized; hence, be prepared to spend some bells for new clothing accessories. Other than the Carnival of Venice event, Nintendo will also release the Festivale holiday event on February 28. Surprisingly, you can still buy Festivale theme items from Nook’s Cranny and Able Sisters.
