They’re back and they’re stronger than ever! Call of Duty Vanguard owners might be in for a treat; rumors suggest the title launches with a Zombie invasion. Since the game launches only a few days past Halloween, it was only natural to start by welcoming the walking-dead back.

Although there has been no announcement since the recent confirmation of the dates and requirements for the beta tests, according to leakers, the Zombies will not be similar to their classic versions. The new Zombie mode will be an amalgamation of Call of Duty’s most popular modes: Outbreak, Onslaught, and Roundbased.

Recently, Microsoft announced Zombie mode’s return to Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. The mode will be a part of the Season 6 update which reportedly launches at the end of Season 5, October 6, 2021.
As for Vanguard, since there’s no word from the developers, it is unclear if they will be a part of the storyline or just a gameplay feature. Well-renowned InforCoDES on Twitter leaked the plausible plans for the new mode. Keeping in line with the Zombie theme, the announcement will reportedly be made a week before Halloween, October 31, 2021. The mode will be available at the time of launch and will have enhanced versions of the zombies. Nothing like the classic ones players have battled before,the new mode will be a mixture of the three popular aforementioned modes.

InfoCoDES also disclosed the launch date for the first round-based map, November 23, 2021.
Call of Duty Vanguard comes out on November 5, 2021. The beta begins in two sets with the first (September 16 – 18) one limited to Xbox Live Gold members. Fortunately, the open beta is not too far away and starts right after the early access testing ends.
