Fans and streamers are seemingly unhappy with the meta of Fortnite
NRG Creator Aussie Antics and several other fans are seemingly disappointed with the premise of weapons for Season 3. As Aussie Antics puts it, Fortnite should look for balancing things than vaulting or adding fewer broken weapons.
He also expressed concern about how the Meta has practically remained the same for the past six to nine months. It feels like nothing changes over the course of seasons in Fortnite.

Really wish we could look at balancing things rather than just vaulting them every time or add things less broken.
We are about to play basically the exact same season for over 9 months in competitive.

There is no denial that Fortnite shouldn’t have the ability to decide whether certain weapons should be in the game or not. As Aussie Antics reiterates, adding new things and then vaulting in the exact same season makes the game very stale. He suggested that there could be several balanced items that could be added.

In Battle Royale, the Shockwave Grenade is an Epic Utility Item. It is a sort of grenade that knocks back players and vehicles, causing them to demolish items in their path after being knocked back while causing no fall damage.
It has appeared in Supply Drops, Vending Machines, Supply Llamas, and Chests in stacks of two with a maximum stack size of six. The Impulse Grenade is considered a straight enhancement to the Shockwave Grenade.

Similarly, The Heavy Sniper Rifle has the ability to swiftly demolish practically every player’s buildings and props, as well as do severe damage to vehicles. It has a sight for longer-range battles and must be reloaded after each shot.
Due to its Sniper Rifle classification, it has very low hip-fire accuracy and shoots a projectile round. It cannot, however, eliminate an adversary with full health and shield.
