NFL Superstar Myles Garrett Takes a Scathing Dig at Call of Duty for Unfair Action

Call of Duty has been facing a backlash from the community, for Warzone is plagued with bugs and is full of hackers, making the gameplay a nightmare for the players. Many popular streamers have blasted Call of Duty for its lenient treatment of hackers. And now joining the bandwagon is the NFL and Cleveland Browns star, Myles Garrett.

Recently, he also complained about the annoying issues in the game.

Garret spoke about being shadowbanned from the game for absolutely no reason. He expressed his resentment on Twitter, and many people were on his side, understanding and emphasizing.

As seen in the above post, Myles Garrett is visibly frustrated with the issues of Call of Duty games already. He feels Call of Duty doesn’t prevent real hackers from having a jolly good time in the game, but when it comes to real people, the game shadowbans them.

He says, “You got ‘ImHacking’ shooting cross map through the jungle but wanna keep me from dropping in with the boys… anyways what game should I start playing?”

This should raise some serious questions on the promises that COD developers had made to the community in 2021. Raven had announced the launch of RICOCHET- a kernel-based anti-cheat engine that would help solve the issues of cheating and hacking.

It was also mentioned that Call of Duty would take strict action against such hackers and ban their accounts from the game.

Raven Software later posted on their official blog page this was just the beginning. They wrote, “We are dedicated and determined to evolve the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat System over time, fighting for the community against those that aim to spoil their gaming experience.”

While it’s good that the devs are still at work trying to better the engine, if they don’t find a fix for the problems plaguing COD, it will lose its playerbase. Here’s hoping that doesn’t happen and the problems are fixed soon.
