Lewis Hamilton Shares His Admiration for Nike’s LeBron James Tribute

The Nike Headquarters in Oregon recently honored basketball heavyweight LeBron James with an Innovation Center on its campus. A stunning concept with great honor backing it, the new building tells James’ story. LeBron’s F1 counterpart, Lewis Hamilton, congratulated the Lakers luminary for the stunning facade built in his honor.
The building is where Nike plans on advancing in sports science, combining data analytics and apparel. LeBron had described the striking building: “I was looking up, and it felt like it just kept getting higher, higher, and higher.” An apt reflection of the athlete’s career.

Similarly, Lewis Hamilton has been an incredible athlete in his sport. Not only has he recently reached the milestone of 100 race win, but has also either broken or equaled a majority of F1 records. Lewis Hamilton gets ready for Turkish GP
After a Parisian break following the Russian GP, Lewis Hamilton refocuses on the next hurdle to the title: the Turkish GP. Ahead of the race in Istanbul, Hamilton is merely two points ahead of his rival, Max Verstappen. However, despite the challenging race ahead, Hamilton may have to face an added burden.

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff worries the driver will have to start the race from the back of the grid. Having raced with three engines so far, taking a new power unit ahead of Turkey will warrant an unwanted penalty for the champion. As long as the rivals put the frequented collisions to an end, Wolff isn’t worried about Hamilton’s title.
On the other hand, a PU change is inescapable. Wolff said, “It’s a possibility. When, and how, is not yet decided.” Additionally, he remains cautious. “You can cope with swings, whether you finish second, third, I think that is OK, the championship is going to go long. But if you don’t finish…”
