Formula 1 is and has always been a really, really difficult and serious sport. There has been little room for fun because the drivers and team principals have always kept themselves uptight for as long as we can remember. But things are changing for the better as we get to see more of the human side of the drivers through social media whenever they party. And the party follows Daniel Ricciardo everywhere!

The Aussie surely knows how to get things going. He vibes and makes other people vibe along. He once found and used a common Red Bull connection during a sing-along that many fans aren’t aware of. The connection was with Geri Halliwell, former Spice Girl, and Christian Horner’s wife, as Ricciardo brought along Pierre Gasly, Brendon Hartley, and the ever-serious Max Verstappen for a round of singing of Wannabe, as per this old video doing the rounds on Twitter.

The drivers tried their best to match Ricciardo, but alas, all attempts failed, as the Aussie absolutely dominated the vocals. Max Verstappen looks absolutely embarrassed, but we gotta give points to everyone for attempting. Many fans further pointed out that it was possibly Geri herself recording the video on her phone, which only makes the clip better!

It’s absolutely delightful seeing Ricciardo bring on the immaculate vibes. With him returning to the Milton Keynes garages, we can surely expect more of these to come around.

More of Daniel Ricciardo singing!

The Red Bull driver arguably carries the spirit of Geri Halliwell when he sings! Whether it’s after-race radio, post-race interviews, or parties, he is always rocking and has found fans in the paddock and elsewhere.

While the clip of him singing Wannabe is from an earlier party, a clip shared by Christian Horner had Ricciardo back to singing at a private Red Bull event. The clip was captioned “welcome back @danielricciardo” in which the now-reserve driver was singing “Wagon Wheel” by the Old Crow Medicine Show.

One thing is certain at this point. Red Bull has an intimate connection with music. We know that all of its drivers enjoy expressing themselves through music wherever they go. It keeps the team alive. However, we aren’t sure if Geri has something to do with it, but we like to believe that she really has a major hand in making things better.
