In a sport like Formula 1, a lot of individual things have to come good to become a championship-winning team. That being said, the bulk of the weightage is given to the car. It’s no secret that in this sport, having a good car is more important than having a good driver pairing. For a team like Ferrari, they already have a very solid driver lineup in the shape of Monegasque, Charles Leclerc, and Spaniard, Carlos Sainz. The only thing left now to sort out is the other gremlins plaguing the Scuderia.
For a driver like Leclerc, only one thing would be occupying his mind currently; that elusive maiden world title. However, given how things have been going for Ferrari, a quick turnaround just isn’t possible. A lot has been made of the solutions that the team from Maranello can employ, however, even the best ones fail in comparison to the magnitude of Ferrari’s problems.

Newey has been the bulwark of Red Bull‘s success. In the entirety of his illustrious F1 career, the man who can see air can be credited with designing cars that have won 12 driver’s titles and 11 constructors’ titles. That being said, his genius isn’t good enough to salvage Ferrari.
Ex-Ferrari hero, Jean Alesi told Eurosport France, “If Adrian Newey arrives, he wouldn’t change that much, it’s not like in the past; if he too arrives, we won’t be able to see him at work before 2025 and Ferrari cannot afford this period of time.”
