Michael Schumacher retired from Formula One in 2012. And while he might’ve been out of the public eye due his 2013 skiing accident, he is certainly not out of the public’s minds. For F1 fans, he is still one of the greatest drivers to have graced the sport, and his recently released documentary only reiterated that.
While commenting on the ‘Schumacher’ documentary, FIA president Jean Todt revealed that it brought tears to his eyes. Todt was the Ferrari General Manager when Schumacher won 5 of his 7 titles with the team.

In an interview with L’Equipe, as reported by Bild, FIA president Todt revealed that the Netflix documentary moved him, and he even praised Michael’s wife for sharing the story so beautifully.
“It is a film full of emotions because it is linked to Michael‘s fate and his career as a world champion. The accident turned his life upside down,” said Todt.
