What a turnaround for the 7-time world champion Lewis Hamilton at the Spanish Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver found himself at the back of the grid after a first-lap contact with Haas driver Kevin Magnussen.

But he came home to finish in P5 just behind the Ferrari driver of Carlos Sainz. But what has probably caught the attention of many F1 fans is not just his impressive performance but also his radio messages.

The British driver was downbeat at the start of the race after the contact with Magnussen and had suggested to his team to consider retiring him to save the engine.
