Charles Leclerc has quickly become a favorite at Scuderia Ferrari and a household name with the ‘tifosi.’ With his enhanced driving style and off-track demeanor, he has won over several hearts and created a fanbase for himself.
Aside from racing, the Monegasque driver is also a fashion icon, becoming an ambassador for luxury brand ‘Armani’ last year. He will also look to launch his own clothing line at some point in time, much like fellow F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.
In a recent, exclusive interview with Armani, Leclerc talked about how he deals with his professional life. He also insists that being a ‘showman’ is out of the equation for him.

Wouldn’t want to be anybody else, says a confident Charles Leclerc
Per the English subtitles in the interview, Leclerc stated, “I like things to be precise, especially in my professional life. I’ve always made my own choices, surrounded by people that I trust and we choose together.”
Often for the need of endorsement duties, sporting celebrities, in general, have had to portray characters completely different to themselves. But being himself is something that Leclerc will continue to persist on, which showcases his morals and principles as well.

When it comes down to racing business, there is probably no one more serious than Leclerc. After all, shouldering the expectations of a team that has a hugely impatient fan following is certainly no easy feat.
But from his own perspective, he will want to edge that bit closer to the top five spots in the Drivers’ Standings. Building on his 2020 form, he would hope for a more reliable and better performing SF21 car in the new season.

Therefore, Leclerc heads into the upcoming campaign knowing there will be an element of pressure. But considering the way he has conducted himself thus far, he will be up for the task when the lights go out in Bahrain a few weeks from now.
