A year can change a lot of things for a person. And for Lando Norris, every year has been progressively so different since he joined the sport that his ideals and goals keep shifting on the regular! Back in 2019, he was just a rookie who wanted to impress the world and keep his seat. Now, in 2023, we’re just waiting to see him become an F1 world champion. Along the way, however, the Brit has also picked up a few new habits of his own, and ditched a few past hobbies, too.

McLaren, Norris, and social media are a potently wholesome mix. Recently, they delivered again! Posting a video to their official YouTube channel, the Woking-based team replayed Norris an interview of his from 2022, and we got to know where he stands on the declarations he made a year later.

In the video, Norris revealed in 2022, “Yeah, there was a period of time when I would literally spend hours and hours and days just creating my own designs and stuff. I had a period where I would like make stickers for the backs of people’s phones. Also, visor stickers, too on their helmets. I don’t know how old I would’ve been…13 or something.”

“And I would go around the paddock like in karting selling them and try and make some money.”

And that would’ve been his go-to career alternative if not for his journey in Golf that was epitomized by his visit to the Grove XXIII golf course owned by NBA legend Michael Jordan where he enjoyed three blissful days of Golfing with Dustin Johnson before the 2023 Miami GP.

Safe to say, this changed his plans as he revealed in 2023 that he “probably would’ve been a Golfer,” if not a driver.

Norris sure does have an affinity for hanging out with sporting royalty while golfing, but none of us could’ve imagined him collaborating with probably the greatest driver of his own sport.

When Lewis Hamilton and Norris took a trip down to a golf course
