Ferrari were just two laps away from winning the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Charles Leclerc led every single lap except the last two laps when he was overtaken by Lewis Hamilton. Ferrari team boss Mattia Binotto expressed his thoughts on the race result.
He also gave his views on Ferrari’s progress in the first half of the season. He also mentioned the points on which the team will focus in the second half of the season.

Binotto presents the agenda for Ferrari in the second half of the 2021 season
As reported by speedweek, the Ferrari boss mentioned he was really pleased with the progress made by the Italian team. He also stated that the team has a long way to go in the quest for leading the sport again.
“The bottom line is that I’m happy with our performance in England. Our racing speed was real and underscores the progress we have made. We wanted to move forward in 2021, we made it.

“Of course we were disappointed in the end that we didn’t win. When your driver has been leading for so long and you are practically trying to win, then defeat is always sobering.
“I would have been happy for the whole team. A victory for Charles would have been a nice reward for the whole team that has worked so hard in the past weeks and months,” said Mattia.
