Valtteri Bottas dominantly won the Turkish Grand Prix. The Finn was never in trouble and looked comfortable on a wet track. But even before getting on the track to race, Bottas had recorded an unusual record to his name.
Bottas started the race on pole position after finishing P2 in qualifying. He inherited the top slot on the grid as Lewis Hamilton had taken a 10-place grid penalty as he had changed ICE on his engine.

The Finnish driver gets an unpleasant record to his name
As reported by GPFans, the Mercedes driver started the race after taking the 18th pole position of his career. While it certainly gave him a race win, it also made him joint top with Rene Arnoux as the driver with most poles in F1 without winning a championship.
Both Rene and Valtteri have 18 pole positions in their time in F1. The next to come after them is the legendary driver Sir Stirling Moss, tied with Felipe Massa.
