Just like any other sport, Formula 1 has a passionate fanbase too. The passion, however, sometimes becomes the excuse for banter toward each other’s teams. But with a wholesome gesture by the Red Bull team at the end of the Mexican GP, fans were reminded of the mutual respect these teams have for each other.
Max Verstappen set the record for most wins in a single season by winning his 14th GP on Sunday. Red Bull’s golden boy fought the resistance from Lewis Hamilton and George Russell in turn 1 of the first lap. Everything after that was smooth sailing.

Max Verstappen once again showcased the dominance he and Red Bull have carried throughout the season. Apart from the brief competition from the two Mercedes drivers in the first corner, the Dutchman faced no resistance throughout the race. The last hope for Mercedes to pose any threat was the tire strategy.
Both RB drivers started on the soft tires, while the Mercedes duo started on mediums. Mercedes counted on the one-stop tire strategy where they would go with the hard compound. Because RBs started on softs, Mercedes expected they would go for a two-stop strategy.
