She can often be seen expressing her love and support for NASCAR and local racing events as well. Patrick is a legendary motorsports athlete and is considered to be one of the most successful women in the history of motor racing. She used to be a Cup Series driver for a number of years and recently, she re-affirmed her love for one of the most iconic racetracks in the world.

Patrick might have never achieved a top-10 finish at the Talladega Superspeedway but she absolutely adores the track and the action it brings. Danica Patrick’s love for Talladega truly is unconditional considering that she had suffered one of the worst crashes of her career there. The year was 2016 and Patrick was a full-time driver in the Cup Series.

The then Stewart-Haas Racing driver was involved in a horrific crash that saw her car burst into flames. Patrick was tagged from behind by Michael McDowell. She lost control of her car and hit Matt Kenseth before crashing into the wall hard as her car caught on fire. She was in the infield medical center for quite a while. After she came out, Patrik said it was the worst wreck she had been in. “That was the worst one (wreck) so far. I have decent bruises on my arm and foot. I hit a wall at 200. And my chest hurts when I breathe,” she had said back then.
