Tiger Woods and Muhammad Ali are two of the most iconic and legendary athletes of our time. The GOAT of boxing was known for his deathly punches and sadly Woods ended up experiencing a light version of them.

Ali’s love tap ended up hurting Tiger Woods

The legend shared a humorous incident with Ali at Shinnecock Hills. Someone suddenly hit him in the ribs while he was waiting in line at the front desk. “I get hit in the ribs. My right ribs. And it hurt,” Woods said.

Woods felt extremely angry and turned around, ready to fight. However, when he turned around, he got a surprise. “I was so pissed. I look around, and it’s Muhammad Ali,” he added.

Woods’ anger evaporated when he saw Ali. Additionally, Ali’s age had not reduced the power in his punch. “And I’m like, why did you have to give me a love tap so hard? He was old, but it still hurt.”
