Before the fierce competition starts on Thursday, golfers engage in a few traditions such as Champions Dinner on Tuesday, and Par-3 Contest on Wednesday. The Par-3 Contest is a lighthearted tradition that acts as a warm-up before the main event’s pressure. Golfers’ families are frequently present and often are seen swinging clubs and caddying.

Its a crowd favorite and fans get to see a different side of their favorite players at this exhibition tournament. This tradition dates back to 1960, and is all about casual swings and friendly rivalries on a special nine-hole course.
