Many kids idolize Tiger Woods and want to become golfers like him. The PGA pro-Justin Thomas, was also one of those kids. He was seven years old when he witnessed Woods win during the 2000 PGA at Valhalla. Thomas has always been faithful to his passion for golf, and we see that in his performance. And as we speak about Thomas’ childhood, let’s walk down memory lane of 2012. The PGA pro was not a kid, but he was a teenager, probably playing golf at college.
And you might wonder why we are talking about the old days of the former number-one golfer. It is because an unseen picture of Thomas, and his golf buddies from 2012, is surfacing on the internet. However, the pro golfer did not like the picture. And the reason was Max Homa’s words.

Reed Medlock posted an old picture of Max Homa and Justin Thomas on Twitter. He wrote about young Homa and Thomas spotted back in 2012. The five times PGA tour winner, Homa, reposted the picture with a hilarious taunt to Thomas. He expressed his gratitude for the photo and wrote, Thomas “aged backwards. Benjamin Button vibes. Thx for this pic. What a throwback w/ some great dudes.” He made fun of his fellow PGA pro and commented on his not-so-attractive aging.

However, the FedEx Cup winner was not just going to sit there and not do anything. Also, he wanted to end the discussion once and for all. Therefore, he gave a two-word epic reply, all in caps, and ended the conversation then and there. “WHATEVER MAX” was the reply that shut it all. Thomas’ response immediately altered Homa’s Benjamin Button vibes.

It was not the only time Thomas’s epic reply turned heads. Last month, Jim ‘Bones’ Mackay, the full-time caddie of Thomas, featured with Homa in an Amazon Web Services advertisement. Homa shared the clip and appreciated Bones for finishing the shoot in just one take. It must have been unpleasant for the PGA pro. Therefore, he commented, “Hey man. Get your own Bones.” Therefore, it is safe to say that Thomas will always have an epic reply to Homa as history repeats itself.

Are Thomas and Homa not on good terms?
No, they are not rivals. Yes, they do compete with each other, but their Twitter comments are a mere reflection of their friendship. Their relationship is a hilarious one, and an incident from July is proof of it. Homa announced that he was going to have a baby with his wife. Post that, Justin Thomas and his father accompanied Homa and his wife for dinner.
While going to the restaurant, Mike asked the pro golfer what they were having. Homa’s wife replied, ‘pasta,’ whereas the pro said, a boy. It gave giggles to everyone there. According to the reports, PGA Tour players had a good time at dinner after playing the first round of the Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club.
