Everyone was shocked around the world after the controversy surrounding the golfer. However, one of the most concerned people was Woods’ half-sister Royce. She was shocked and could not believe the headlines she was reading.

They summoned the police to Woods’ Orlando residence on November 27, 2009, after his Cadillac Escalade SUV struck a fire hydrant and a tree. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital to treat them and face lacerations. The pro golfer was not wearing the belt, according to the police reports. However, this accident gave a blow to the fire of speculations. People started questioning the reason for the accident.
Two days later, it was in the news about the pro having an alleged affair, and the controversy began. Along with fans and Woods’ sister, Royce was stunned but had the best wishes for his brother.
How did Royce feel about Tiger Woods?
After they added new names to the alleged scandal list, the problems for Tiger Woods kept increasing. However, his half-sister had faith in his brother. She said, “I would like everyone to know that my love for Tiger is unconditional, and I wish he and my sister-in-law Elin the best.”
Royce said she was “surprised” about the scandal and could not believe the news. However, she only wanted her half-brother to live a happy life with her ex-sister-in-law, Elin. Even though things did not go as Royce wanted, she wished them happiness. Royce did not hesitate in telling the world that she was proud of her brother and loved him dearly. She told the newspaper, “I do wish Tiger the best.”

But Royce’s wishes could not come true, and the former couple split in 2010. It was not a good experience for Elin and the kids. Woods had to pay a whopping $100 million as a divorce settlement.

A sister’s love is the purest after a mother’s love. And it was evident in the words of Royce how much she cared for her baby brother. Even though Woods was surrounded by controversy and people criticized him, his half-sister supported him and wished him well.
