During the interview, Woods starts off by praising James right away. The NBA star has continued to maintain his high level of play consistently, often on the winning end. Additionally, James has played for three teams and has won titles with all three of them.

“It’s unbelievable what he (LeBron) has been able to not only achieve but sustain. Over the course of his career, he’s been able to develop his game and make huge strides forward,” Woods said. He added that James has been at the top for a long time, especially in a place that’s ‘vicious’.

“To add to that, he’s big and fast, he must’ve endured plenty of wear and tear along the way so it’s just remarkable how he’s been able to maintain such a high level for this long. He’s a freak of nature”.

In conclusion, Woods believed that James – along with Anthony Davis – will certainly bring home more titles over the years. As per the 15-time major winner, the duo worked well together and would continue to succeed.

Now, while James and Davis are still playing together, the Lakers have continued to struggle. Last season, plagued with injuries, the Lakers exited the playoffs following a Round 1 defeat against the Phoenix Suns. It was unexpected and turned out to be James’ very first Round 1 exit.

This season, despite James averaging 29.1 points, the Lakers have failed to win. Currently placed ninth in the Western Conference, the team will only qualify for the play-in tournament.

On his end, Woods is still recuperating from his car crash last February. He last played the PNC Championship with his son, with little updates available on his PGA Tour return.
