The 2023 WM Phoenix Open is progressing at the TPC Scottsdale. It is 6th event the PGA Tour has been conducting this year, and the first to have so many big names playing on the field. With more than 30 of the Top 50 golfers on the OWGR standings present at the course, the competition is expected to be higher. Hence, making the cutline tougher compared to the other Tour events.

With $20 million purse money and many more OWGR points to grab, the Phoenix Open puts added pressure on the players, making it more interesting for the fans.

Although the TPC Scottsdale is a people-friendly course, it is not a golfer-friendly one. Extreme wind and other weather conditions pose many threats to the players. On top of that, the monstrous course and its 16th hole drag hundreds of thousands of people to the event, making it more stressful for the players.
